When you’ve found your new home and take a 2nd visit to measure the curtains don’t forget to ask a few questions, they may sound obvious, but can save so much hassle when you’ve moved in.
- Where's the main water stopcock
- Where are the gas and electricity meters?
- What day are the bins collected?
- Which company supplies the energy, broadband and phone line ( you may get a good deal off them)
- Where is the thermostat?
